Hosted by Cynthia Walker, Youth Apprenticeship Specialist and DESE Consultant, this is the Jan 2024 edition of MO DESE's "Ready Aim Launch for Registered Youth Apprenticeships" webinar series. Many talented students in our high schools seek apprenticeship opportunities for their career paths but, unfortunately, get passed over or not considered for various reasons. Ft. Zumwalt High School and Hope High School's visionary leaders have worked with an innovative manufacturing business owner, Dan Fitter of Quality Specialty Products, to open these doors for them as well. These young workers who fall into a more non-traditional category of students are what manufacturing and other companies are looking for as solutions to their long-term workforce. Join us for a panel discussion with Ft. Zumwalt School District Leaders Dr. Pat Brown, Andy McHaffie, and Ryan Bishop.
