SpaceTEC Partners Inc. and the Space Coast Consortium Apprenticeship Program (SCCAP), located on Florida’s Space Coast, is hosting a "by registration" One-Day Production Workshop led by SCCAP member companies and instructors and Eastern Florida State College, with participation from Brevard Public Schools (high schools and adult ed). SCCAP holds the production workshop every year to recruit apprentice candidates from the local high schools and allows youth apprentice candidates to work in teams and side-by-side with SCCAP member company mentors and instructors. Each session will be 45 minutes long, and during this time, the students will be able to tour the facility while the employer highlights what makes their company great while also informing the students about their employment opportunities and apprenticeship programs. For this event, we target Juniors and Seniors interested in machine operators, milling and drilling, and other employment opportunities.
