    SpaceTEC Partners Inc. and the Space Coast Consortium Apprenticeship Program (SCCAP), located on Florida’s Space Coast, is hosting a "by registration" One-Day Production Workshop led by SCCAP member companies and instructors and Eastern Florida State College, with participation from Brevard Public Schools (high schools and adult ed). SCCAP holds the production workshop every year to recruit apprentice candidates from the local high schools and allows youth apprentice candidates to work in teams and side-by-side with SCCAP member company mentors and instructors.     ARCH Cutting Tools (advanced manufacturing) will host an in-person event on May 9th, 2024! ARCH Cutting Tools will host 4 sessions throughout the day (2 morning and 2 afternoon). Each session will be 45 minutes long, and during this time, the students will be able to tour the facility while the employer highlights what makes their company great while also informing the students about their employment opportunities and apprenticeship programs. For this event, we target Juniors and Seniors interested in machine operators, milling and drilling, and other employment opportunities.

Each session will be 90 minutes long, and during this time, the students will be able to tour the facility while the employer highlights what makes their company great while also informing the students about their employment opportunities. There might also be an opportunity for the students to operate some of the employer’s equipment! For this event, we are targeting Juniors and Seniors interested in construction, landscape, and building repair service trade professions.
