Event Description

Both events were held in collaboration with the North Texas Job Corps. The SMART event is scheduled for Wednesday, 11/15/23 at the Local 68 Sheet Metal Union Hall in Euless, TX. NTJC students from the Building Construction Technology (BCT), Cement, and Carpentry trades will tour the facility, meet with sheet metal instructors and learn about career opportunities. On Monday, 11/13/23 the National Flooring Contractors Apprenticeship Program (NFCAP) held an open house in their building which is located on the North Texas Job Corps campus. This event offered mock-ups, information about NFCAP, career opportunities and meeting with flooring employers. Students in the cement and carpentry trades were able to take advantage of this opportunity.
