2023 Solano County TradesTrek

We're thrilled to announce the 2023 Solano County Construction TradesTrek. This event will take place during National Apprenticeship Week and is dedicated to showcasing the quality and value of union apprenticeships for youth and our community. During the TradesTrek, students from 5 different high schools in Solano County California will visit up to 3 different trades Training Centers. We’d like to invite elected officials throughout Solano County to join us on our first stop at UA 342 Training Center to learn more about the trades, apprenticeship programs, and the Building Trades work in Solano County.

During the tour, you’ll:

• Tour the UA 343 Steamfitters and Pipetrades training center alongside Solano County youth exploring careers in the trades
• Observe the high-quality training and facilities offered by union apprenticeships
• Learn how workforce goals in Project Labor Agreements create high-paying union jobs for youth.
