Event Description

This year, to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, we are inviting Superintendents, Administrators, Principals, Counselors, MW Apprenticeship Success Coordinators, Athletic Directors, and other educators to participate in a Hands-On program. Participants will get to try their hand at a variety of skilled trades with hands-on workstations, with guidance from representatives of multiple Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship skilled trades organizations, The Michigan Building and Construction Trades, and MUST. You will learn about the newest techniques, the relationships to STEM education, and speak directly to Instructors and Apprentices. Learn about program prerequisites, the application processes and what a skilled trades career looks like in salary and benefits, as well as network with the organizations, associations, educators and officials driving Registered Apprenticeships in Michigan!
