The Value of Registered Apprenticeship Programs

Utica, NY – The Workforce Development Board, Herkimer, Madison, and Oneida Counties’ Regional Apprenticeship Development and Readiness (RADAR) grant project invites you to join us on November 18, 2024, as we focus attention on the vital role of Registered Apprenticeships in creating a skilled workforce and strengthening our economy. The event will take place Nov. 18th, from 10:00 AM to Noon at the MVCC Utica Campus (1101 Sherman Drive, ACC 116). Featuring Opportunities To: • Explore exciting career paths in the Trades and Advanced Manufacturing fields • Learn about Pre-Apprenticeship training and Registered Apprenticeship opportunities • Network with local employers who are looking for the next generation of skilled workers • Hear inspiring success stories from apprentices who have transformed their careers through these programs This event is open to the public, with a focus on our local school district and youth interested in learning more about Apprenticeship.
