Unlocking Opportunities: A Spotlight on the New National Apprentice Fund

Join Jobs for the Future as we celebrate National Apprenticeship Day with an exciting new initiative for current Registered Apprentices: the National Apprentice Fund. Research has shown that financial barriers are a primary reason why apprentices do not complete their apprenticeship programs. With Google.org’s support, the National Apprentice Fund is a new $2 million fund that aims to support apprentices in Registered Apprenticeship programs across the U.S. who are apprenticing in new and emerging industries and facing barriers that are affecting their ability to complete their program. This virtual information session on April 30, 2025, will share an overview of the fund, the goals of the initiative, and tips for navigating the application. Current Registered Apprentices, as well as employers, community-based organizations & Registered Apprenticeship providers or program partners, are encouraged to join.
