SkillsUSA Illinois, Youth Workforce Development Foundation, and the Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) announced receiving the Apprenticeships Build America federal grant with Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, State Senator Cristina Castro, Brian McGuire (AED Foundation), Marc Poulos (Local 150), and Melissa Owens (U-46 Board of Education President). The announcement of this investment celebrates the unlocked opportunities for students to build careers in the skilled trades and further expand apprenticeships among youth.
