NCAN National Apprenticeship Week Celebration

Come celebrate 10 years of National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) as we kickoff this year's NAW activities with an event at Laney College. On November 18th from 9AM-2PM, the Northern California Apprentice Network will convene policy, economic and workforce development leaders from the Bay Area Community College Consortium, PG&E, BAVC Media, the City of Oakland, the Bay Area Council, City College of San Francisco, Berkeley City College, Laney College and others for a series of discussions about existing and projected apprenticeship programs in the region. Monday's theme for NAW 2024 is Youth and Young Adult Apprenticeships, which will be explored during the course of the event's panels. The event will have light refreshments and include an optional tour of the college's culinary program.
