IEC Chesapeake & MD DOL Youth Apprenticeship Celebration

IEC Chesapeake and the MD Dept of Labor will recognize and celebrate Youth Electrical Apprentices, their employers and school staff who make the investment into youth apprenticeship. The apprentices begin year 1 of a 4 year electrical apprenticeship while in their senior year of high school. Employers invest in educating a young person who will become a licensed Journeyworker.
