Event Description

Hear from current apprenticeship sponsors on how they are utilizing registered apprenticeship programs to meet workforce needs outside of the traditional “trades” programs. ReVision Energy recently expanded beyond their Electrician apprenticeship program to meet the needs of roles such as Manager and Customer Service Specialist. Washington County Community College is partnering with local employers to train apprentices in critical Educational Technician and Early Childhood Educator roles. And Maine Aquaculture Association, with Gulf of Maine Research Institute, created the FIRST ever aquaculture apprenticeship program in the U.S. Each of these three organizations will provide a brief overview of their programs and how they started, followed by a facilitated discussion with opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
