Event Description

​​Apprenticeship Illinois hosting the Technical Assistance for a refresher to 2023 grantees and partners in the Integrated Business Service Teams. In this 90-minute session, participants will learn the basic components of a US DOL Registered Apprenticeship Program, hear best practices for apprenticeship outreach/development, and understand the 3 C's (Competencies, Coursework, Compensation) needed to register an apprenticeship program on behalf of an employer. A portion of this time will be set aside for Q&A, and apprenticeship resources will be shared with all registrants. This presentation is aimed at frontline workforce development professionals, post-secondary education partners, and key LWIA Integrated Business Services Teams members.
