Advancing Equity Through Apprenticeships

During this year’s special National Apprenticeship Week Event, join us for a discussion about how collaboration with Employer partners and Community Based Organizations using Apprenticeships is key to increasing workforce equity. By giving marginalized individuals access to training, opportunity, and support, apprenticeships help to close the equity gap in the labor market. They encourage fair access, diversity, and inclusion, fill skill shortages, open up high-quality employment opportunities, and use data and community involvement to develop efficient, equitable services. Please join UHCHI for this year’s National Apprenticeship Week celebration on November 16th at 2:30pm, including a wine & beer reception and a banquet prepared by the 11th cohort of Chef de Partie apprentices, followed by a ceremony for our graduating Journeyworkers!
